Participation
We recommend the Leadership Program for those who are already familiar with the Evolution approach and the practices of Evolution Place. Most participants join the program after completing Evolution: Practices of Adaptivity.

If you are new to Evolution, we recommend starting with an Evolution Check-up.
Это создаст нужный контекст и сделает участие в Лидерском курсе более комфортным и понятным.

If you have already completed Evolution: Practices of Adaptivity, you may choose to update your Hogan and Vertical Development assessments, or add CliftonStrengths®, Structogram®, or other assessments. Individual debriefs for each assessment can be included as part of the program.
What You'll Need to Get the Most from the Program
  • A willingness to contribute, create, and share
The program is built around collaborative learning. Together, we explore real leadership challenges, experiment with contemporary approaches and practices, and create responses that fit the unique person, context, situation, and system.
    1
  • A living leadership practice—and a willingness to work with yourself as well as others
Many participants already have experience leading change, transformation, teams, products, or organizations. Just as important is a genuine curiosity about people, how they make sense of the world, and a willingness to continue learning through practice
    2
  • A real question to explore
It helps to come with a genuine leadership challenge—or at least an emerging direction you want to explore, deepen, or lead. Your question might be:
    • Why does this matter to me?
    • Where and how will I apply what I learn?
    • What in my work, leadership, or system is asking to evolve?
    3
Why Take This Course — or Why Pursue This Path?
The main purpose of evolutionary leadership is to help unlock the potential of ourselves, other people, teams, organizations, and ultimately, the world around us; to help people pay more attention to themselves, speak openly and humanly with one another about what truly matters, and create nurturing environments where people can grow and realize their potential.

This is not easy work. Yet when these conditions are created, everything else begins to follow naturally—goals, results, partnerships, friendships, joy, and a fuller, richer experience of life.

It is deeply meaningful work, and something worth sharing.
Why You May Not Want to Take This Program
Because this work is a continuous process of disqualifying your own expertise. It begins while you are learning the role and continues throughout your work. Not everyone is ready for that.

When you stand in front of people, everything becomes visible—and obvious—including to yourself. The feedback is immediate, and it is not always pleasant. And you’ll have to do something with it.

Because very rarely will anyone recognize you or give you an award for the best solution. The results belong to the people you are doing this for.

You are the environment. And from time to time, your ego will be quietly whining in the corner.
